BEAUTIFUL AND LIVELY STRUCTURE
A varnished Ash floor is spectacular and hard wearing. The wild grain patterns with a clear contrast between sapwood and hardwood will fade over time but the planks will always remain lively. An Ash floor can tell a story - if you have the time to listen. When we oil Ash, the tonal variations between the heartwood and sapwood come to life. The result is a light, hard and durable floor.
ABOUT ASH
Ash is hard and tough with a lively grain pattern. This durable wood is as hard as Oak. The heartwood is brown, while the sapwood is creamy white in unfinished condition. The tonal qualities of the heart and sapwood will meet over time in a light brown scale.
RAPPGP STRIP
With the 10 mm wide Rappgo strip between the planks, you can create a marine effect and enhance the natural qualities of your Ash floor. The strip can be used to construct a range of different flooring patterns. The Rappgo Strip has a tongue and groove and comes in White Ash and Teak - natural, varnished or oiled. Suitable for 14 mm glued joint flooring only.
