Installation is quick, efficient and economical.
Our home’s walls are delivered in sections up to 23-1/2 feet in length and the roof sections are just under 4 feet in width which make it relatively quick and easy to connect and secure. Since we provide a full set of blueprints with each of our homes our clients have 3 options in how to construct their new home:
Option 1: Since unfortunately all contractors do not provide the same quality in workmanship, we at Swede Home want, and can recommend, some of the best building contractors to construct your new home.
Option 2: If you already have a building contractor that you trust then you can use them.
Option 3: If you are a perfectionist and have knowledge and experience in building construction, and with the help of at least 3 people, you can construct your new home to your personal high standard.
A professional team experienced in raising Swede Home houses can complete the outer structure in as little as 4 days.
Day 1 - erecting walls, raising roof sections or trusses and securing
Day 2 - finishing roof sections or trusses, installation and sealing of exterior doors
Day 3 - installation and sealing of windows
Day 4 - bonding of wall sections and roof sections

Below is a quick little video to show the basic idea of how the main parts of our homes are assembled on site. Even though the European U-values are being used in the video, below is a quick formula to convert the European U-values to the American R-Values.
IMPORTANT! This is converting European U-values to American R-values and not converting American U-Values to American R-values:
R = 1/U(5.682) which is:
1 / European U-value X 5.682 = American R-value
Our walls = 1 / .11 X 5.682 = American R-value of R-51.7 or R-52.
Our roof = 1 / .09 X 5.682 = American R-value of R-63.1 or R-63
